Either they’ve suffered the awful effects of flooding personally, or they see the continuous stream of news reports of devastating flooding and can’t imagine experiencing it themselves, let alone paying the astronomical cost of flood insurance.

To be clear, I’m not a flood expert. But I have the tools and experience to help homebuyers find homes outside of flood-prone areas. I’ll conduct your search outside any Special Flood Hazard Area, which is determined by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to be outside the 100- and 500-year flood plains, or Zone X.
